hello ladies and gents i just thought i would let you all know that the third album is on its way and also a dual single release of vampire and backwatergirl both new sexy tracks will be ready for your ears in 2010. keep a track of the gigs as the year is filling up quick with dates up and down the country ;). the new album is gonna be 10 tracks of hijak goodness again showing the diverse nature of the band. the album has no title yet but it will soon pop into my head:).

| Just played our first gig of the weekend with the Dirty Back Beats :) great night and our first time playing nothing but material from our next album! Hope tomorrow is as good. Photos to follow soon :) x |

Hello all :)
Had a gin and tonic fuelled rehersal/writing sesh last night. Got 2 new songs pretty much nailed. Both of which will be on the new album. One called Reunion Ball and the other called Echoes.
Just uploaded the new Hijak Oscar shop where you can fuel our vehical by buying loads of Hijak goodies!
In other news, I'm selling an electric drum kit if anyone wants it...email me! :)

Well it's been a long time since I did one of these!
Loads of change in the house of Hijak. New band members, new website, new album on the way......new new new!
We're on a break from the road now to concentrate on the new album which is sounding supers so far :)
Hope you're all well. The site should pick up in activity soon and apologies for the areas that ain't done yet.

welll what can i say with the scotty leg of the tour complete with an air of success the good old blustery winds blew the good ship hijak oscar the long 7hour drive to brummy land where we met up with some dear friends mr GT Turbo and adam rogowski of the mighty Boss Caine.
Lovely Rach from york now managing the brum barfly met us all with open arms and made us all feel welcome.
the line up stood Boss Caine ( acoustic magic), texas cannonball chain, Mr Dery and then us. was an epic gig to play and it all felt right and tight like a nuns chuff.
We then spilt up to cover as much of birmingham with the hijaks majestic party spirit which peeked with a low down boogie train with some good old friends and a tanker of jack Daniels,
